CONCLAVE
Next to a Jamboree and a NOAC, the section conclave is probably the largest inter-council event in the Boy Scouts of America. What happens at a section conclave can make a big difference in the effectiveness of lodge and chapter programs of the Order of the Arrow and in the dedication of an individual Arrowmen. As the Field Operation Guide points out the Conclave is a crucial component in scouting and it is therefore our greatest responsibility as a section to plan and execute an excellent event.
The success of this event is dependent on how hard the lodges work on planning and preparing for the event. It is the section’s job to organize the conclave, but it is up to everyone in the section as to quality.
This year’s host Lodge is Kuskitannee 168. This year’s Conclave theme is The Arrowstock Festival and will be held at the Camp Bucoco May 12-14.
